Join our professional team of Application Specialists as a Pre-Sales Atomic Spectroscopy Application Specialist (m/f/d) in Waldbronn, Germany! You’ll play a pivotal role in crafting the future of analytical instrumentation. Collaborate with other Application Specialists across our European Centers of Excellence (CoE), work closely with the Sales Team, and make a real impact by developing applications, workflows, and demonstrating our innovative Atomic Spectroscopy portfolio to address customers’ analytical needs.
Your responsibilities:
Application Development: Create and/or optimize existing methods for customer samples, seamlessly transferring them to Agilent instruments. Showcase the performance of Agilent's Atomic Spectroscopy portfolio to our customers at our CoE in Waldbronn.
Customer Engagement: Understand customer challenges, recommend tailored solutions, and ensure their satisfaction.
Effective Communication: Present your findings and results to customers at scientific conferences, seminars, workshops, and user meetings. Travel to customer sites for impactful presentations, method implementation, consultancy, and training.
Sales Enablement and Success: Contribute to designing and delivering Atomic Spectroscopy technology and workflow sales training. Collaborate with our sales teams to exceed Atomic Spectroscopy targets.
Market Insights: Be the go-to expert, both internally (with our product and marketing teams) and externally (with customers and key opinion leaders).
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with R&D to shape the future of Atomic Spectroscopy technologies and applications and incorporate customer requirements into upcoming products.
Continuous Learning: Maintain and expand critical domain knowledge by keeping up with scientific findings, market & technology trends, industry benchmarks, regulations, and competitive positioning.
ProfileWe are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:
A master’s degree or equivalent (PhD preferred) with a strong focus on instrumental analysis.
Knowledge and Hands-on experience, approx.4 years of experience with Atomic Spectroscopy its operation with focus on applications.
Demonstrated experience in method development and optimization.
Fluent in French and English; German language skills would be a plus.
Apart from these more technical skills and qualifications, you should also bring the following:
Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
Ability to work independently on projects, whilst also collaborating as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills, well-organized and the ability to meet deadlines while handling several different projects simultaneously.
Willingness to travel occasionally (throughout Europe) up to 25% of the time.
